Q. I really want to start getting fit and healthy but don’t know where to start? I feel intimidated by the gym and am worried I won’t be able to cope with anything?
A. We start right from the beginning, we will assess where you are now and then formulate a safe sustainable plan to work you towards your goals, most importantly we listen to what you want and you will be working with trainers who put your health and safety first.
Q. I want to try a different approach to weight loss, I’m not interested in the gym and have tried countless slimming clubs and diets but none have worked for me, can you help?
A. Well this is a popular question. There are many reasons most diets don’t work but two of the main ones are – You are not properly educated about nutrition, the diet industry will fill your head with half truths and you are usually not coached by properly qualified professionals, without the correct qualifications and training how can you expect your questions to be answered well?
We have studied long and hard and have the appropriate level of education to really help you and make a permanent life changing difference.
Q. I want to start running but can only manage about 30 seconds at the moment, how can I safely build this up and remain injury free.
A. Come along to our “Absolute Beginners” Run Club. It does exactly what it says on the tin!
Q. I am recovering from a long illness and want to start increasing my fitness levels, what’s the best way to do this?
A. You have a few options here you can look at our “Absolute Beginners” Run Club or perhaps one of our exercise camps “Camp Funk” both will provide you with the expert guidance and motivation you need but at a much reduced cost and you will get the chance to meet plenty of new people. And if your budget can stretch why not get a few friends involved and look at the “Buddy up” PT scheme.
Q. Love the idea of “Group Training” but I’m scared it will be the Military style shouty bootcamp type of thing and I know I couldn’t cope with that physically or mentally.
A. Well that’s ok because that’s not what we do, we DON’T do military style boot camps, we focus on a good all over body workout in an environment where you will be helped, motivated and encouraged. We focus on safety, technique and looking after you, results are a given! Our classes can be tailored to suit any age (above 16) and ability. Most of all we have fun and we get results!
Q. How do I know you are properly insured and qualified?
A. We are happy to bring along insurance documents and qualifications to your initial consultation and you can also check REP’s (Register of Exercise Professionals) for us as well . |
